Level 3 BTEC Art and Design (Product Design)

This course allows students to develop confidence in their ideas, opinions and creativity and is designed to enable you to go on to higher education or a specialist career in art and design.  Working with innovative ‘real life’ design briefs students work with a wide range of media. Projects include jewellery design, 3D design and eco furniture.

‘The project we have just completed, ‘In the City’ was very enjoyable. It was easy going and free, I could use whatever media I wished but it had to be inspired by my home city of Bradford. I chose to portray the fun-loving and lively side of Bradford that many people miss. I used vivid colours and pictures to show the various cultures and personalities I see in Bradford; every stitch tells a story.
I feel I got a lot out of this project as I developed my skills as well as learning more about my home city. I hope my work portrays this gorgeous side of Bradford that can be so easily forgotten!' Kauser Ali Year12
