​​As the new Headteacher I am proud to be able to move our academy forward in the coming years. We have high expectations of our students; we expect 100% attendance, correct uniform, correct equipment, commitment, effort, respect and mutual trust. With our highest ever results at GCSE in 2018 as well as being one of the top Bradford schools for Progress 8, we continue to look forward to each successful year.

ST MARTIN'S CHURCH HOSTS YEAR 7 DISCUSSION
Year 7 students enhanced their understanding of Christian beliefs and values during a visit to St Martin's Church, very good engagement and enhanced. Students were amazed to hear the Priest speak Arabic and encouraged them to ask questions freely and openly. He said,” After about ten minutes in St Martin's Church they realised that questions, opinions and discussion were not just allowed but encouraged! We covered all sorts of areas of Christian belief, Church Practice and Spirituality. I'm looking forward to another visit.” We are too.

FE, HE, Apprenticeship & Careers Fair
As part of National Careers Week BVG is hosting a FE, HE, Apprenticeship & Careers Fair and Year 11 & 12 students will be invited to attend to help them make an informed decision about their future. We have representation from College, Universities, Apprenticeship providers & employers.
